Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!
If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

Just for the record, the noise she's making is something like a hawk screech or whatever; I'm not very good at turning sounds into words XD. I'm also, obviously, not very good at drawing birds. Never have been. You'll have to bare with me until I get the hang of that.
Anyway, it's 3:30 in the morning as I'm posting this, and my brain's been kinda fried all day for some reason, so I'll just end this here. See you Monday.
Oh, and Question of the Update: If you could have an oddly intelligent horse like Arashi, a fuzzy dragon like Featherscales, or a giant bird like this one, which one would you choose and why?
Hmmm...they all seem like good riding creatures. It's a hard choice. I do personally like horses, though...maybe the horse or the dragon. Alright, horse, b/c it would make me feel taller and faster while being safer than the other two. Plus, I feel that dragons are more for cool characters who like to get around in style.
I'd make it say "REH!" but that doesnt sound bird-like.
Hmm, I was hoping for a color comic, that could help eliminate any specific types of fantasy birds, though most that I can think of now seem unlikely; it could still be a phoenix or young roc, though who says it has to be something from our mythology? it could just be a big bird.
I would take the bird, too, I think I would like riding it and if I recall correctly Featherscales can only glide/hop with his wings.
@Seth: Yeah, I thought about coloring this page, but that takes longer and I was a bit short on time (I pretty much just gave myself one night to get this page done, and wound up getting caught up elsewhere and starting it late. Think I rushed through it in like 4 hours.)
And yes, Feath can't actually fly, just kind of glide a little with his wings. The wings are too small and he's too heavy to legitimately fly.
For those of you wondering, you'll find out what kind of bird it is in the next couple pages.
