DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

OTHER PROJECTS

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

This is getting ridiculous.

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

Here. At this point you guys deserve SOMETHING, so here's the sketch for the next page, at least. This is seriously all I've had time to do.

I've had about enough of this. Right now, I have two online classes and am working 2-3 days a week. Doesn't sound like much, right? But those classes somehow manage to take up almost every second of the time I'm at home. I wasn't expecting them to be easy, and it's not even that the material is extremely difficult, it's just time-consuming.

I'll just let you guys in on this: After this quarter, I'm probably done with art school. It's done nothing but drive me insane from day one, and for a multitude of reasons, I don't know what I was thinking when I decided that I could do art as a career. Bad idea. For me, anyway. Especially since I'm so busy with art school that I don't even have time to freaking draw.

This has nothing to do with the comic; I still love doing that and am not going to stop. I just couldn't take doing art as a full-time job with someone else telling me what to do. That's where I draw the line.

ANYWAY. Ranting aside, I just don't even know what to tell you guys at this point. I really wanted to get pages done this week, but with 5 time-consuming assignments in one class and 3 in the other, I can't make it fit. Trust me, I'm going nuts. At the very least, like I said, here's the sketch for page 9. Apologies for the messiness, but honestly this is what all my sketched pages look like, haha. Obviously I've taken out the dialogue, not that you could read it anyway, so at least you guys have something to do in figuring out what's going on (I think it's pretty obvious, but eh).

So, Question of the Update here is obvious: You see the speech bubbles? Come up with the dialogue. Doesn't have to be serious, you can just have fun with it and think up with something ridiculous for all I care. Or you can guess what they're really saying. Enjoy.

And You Say...

Christo556 says,

told ya it was because last time he saw it it was WAY smaller XD

contradiction123 says,

I can sorta read the words in some of the panels, like in the second to last one, the girl is saying, "She grew."

IcyPheonix (Guest) says,

Aha, I was right about his shock, it was because the birdy had grown a lot since he last saw her/it.

Comments, anyone?
