Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!
If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

You didn't think I wasn't going to do a holiday picture, did you? Psh.
It's funny how my Christmas doodles always end up more like awkward family portraits than anything else. Because God knows the DC crew are an awkward sort of family. I'll pretty much just leave this to your interpretation, but for the record I have no idea where the bird got holly, the dragon got a string of lights, or the horse got mistletoe. Also, yes, that is an ornament hanging on Feath's ear, and one of Xan's fire sprites chilling on/above his nose there. It's not hurting him, obviously.
Once again, happy holidays kids! :D
(Also, there'll be a bigger version of this up on DA in a few minutes. Hold on.)
I'm willing to bet Riza took all that stuff through the gate with her.
Dae: "and what's this? colored rope?"
Riza: Those are Christmas Lights! You plug them in-
Xan: Plug in? is that that electricity thing again?
Riza: Ack! I can't believe I didn't think about needing an outlet!
Riza: Hey xan, :3 may I borrow your firesprites?
@Seth: Fun fact--there actually is electricity on Sanvolae, at least to a certain degree. Most places don't really have it, but the wealthier towns like Relecross (and by extension, the Base, being that it's owned by the Relecross family) do. It's not enough to power like, a lot of big major appliances, but they have little things like electric lights and stuff. It doesn't work exactly the same as electricity on Earth--there's probably some sort of lighting magic involved--but it's close enough that Riza could plug in some stuff that she could bring from home. Christmas lights, maybe a toaster, or small stereo or TV. Possibly a laptop. Maybe. But yeah! Her lights would actually work.
