DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

If you like monsters, why not check out my Society6 shop:

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 18: Page 5

January 14th, 2013, 11:00 am

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

This is another page where I hated to sketch but the finished product isn't too bad. Probably helped that I added a panel and shifted things around a bit in Photoshop, but eh.

I realized, however, as I was drawing this, that I completely and totally forgot the sprites on the last page. Just uh...assume they were looking out the window. Also, yes, they can occasionally be useful for things other than floating. Also, yes, those two are pressed against the window glass.

Anyway, obvious Question of the Update since I'm too lazy to think of anything better: Who IS that they see out there?

And You Say...

PureSnowBird says,

That guy from that shack house place Luna used ta live in!? :D
Roos or Raus or something along those lines...

Salimus says,

I don't think it's ever been explained what those little balls are that surround him all the time. What are they exactly?

LordSeth (Guest) says,

Took me a minute to realize those lines were from a window.
Certainly looks like Raus to me.

Hazumirein says,

@Salimus: They're fire sprites (and you're right, I never did get around to actually explaining them in the comic). They're just little fiery...beings...of some kind that he uses as a sort of power source/base for various flamey magicy stuff. They also make good night lights.

@Seth: Yeah, I tried for a glass effect to make the windows more obvious, but Photoshop was just having none of it. Couldn't figure out how to get it to right for some reason.

Soriel1 says,

The guy from back at the beginning. Or maybe the one that wishes to take care of the job but was forbiden to do it.

Is there a blueprint of the building they live in right now?

Comments, anyone?
