DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 20: Page 11

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

You know, I think the reason that I don't do a lot of action scenes in DC is because action pages take FOREVER. DSJHKALD. I mean most of these are turning out better than I anticipated but STILL.

Don't get me wrong, stuff like Xan's fire sword and Oberon in general are super fun to draw and all but it is really time-consuming.

Oh well. One day late ain't too bad. My days off seem to keep getting consumed by things like, as of late, my hunt for a new car that doesn't suck that I can actually afford. Not an easy task for a broke college student.

Anyway. Here's your page.

Question of the Update: WHAT HAPPENS TO XAN? Does he get eaten by the monster or make an escape?

Song of the Week: "I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?" - A Day To Remember. Lyrics in this song could actually apply to a multitude of characters and situations in this comic (not limited too and including Oberon), so I'm just gonna stick it here because why not. Also I'm on a bit of an ADTR kick because I'm working their show this weekend, and while I'm not a huge fan, I like them enough to be reasonably excited. Plus they have a good live show and one my actual favorite bands is opening.

And You Say...

Malkus says,

Xan's blunder

Ha! Your lack of experience is showing, Xan.

But he'll escape. Somehow I doubt you'd kill him off now. Especially after all of the character development you've put him through.

Casey (Guest) says,

(But it's fun to kill characters!)
He'll probably make an escape... either by using little fireballs or getting himself rescued. X3

pegasiger says,

im sure he'll escape somehow, i'm just waiting for riza to go all full wolf and i bet it'll take a life or death situation for it to happen.

Timotheus (Guest) says,

Gag reflex

If he can throw in some dirt clods, rocks, clumps of weeds, or branch bundles into that gaping maw beyond the tongue he should be able to trigger a gag reflex in the beast that will give him time to escape.

Soriel (Guest) says,

Maybe Riza will enter some kind of shock event and turn into beast form, attacking their giant foe and scaring the hell out of the others.

Comments, anyone?
