DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

If you like monsters, why not check out my Society6 shop:

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 26:Page 9

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

So here's that. Those of you that called out the teacher's creeper quality last page pretty much nailed it.

Fun fact: This guy is in fact inspired by my actual 9th grade Spanish teacher, who was in fact a creeper with a bad reputation concerning female students and a rat tail stuck to the back of his head.

Meanwhile, if anyone doesn't remember, the bit about Suzume wanting to know where the Dreamstone came from hasn't been brought up since like...Chapter 2. So I could see why someone would forget since it's been like 8 years or something.

Anyway, Question of the Update: Who is the worst teacher you've ever had?

Song of the Week: "Crusader (Are We There Yet?)" - Black Gryph0n & Baasik. This one came up in one of those "Discover" playlists that Spotify gives you every week and it's just such a catchy little adventure song that I had to feature it somewhere. So here.

And You Say...

Flame Shadow says,

Usually, it's difficult to notice improvement in art when you see it weekly, but Suzume's mentioning the Dreamstone again brought me back in time to when this comic was a good deal younger. And with that in mind, I looked again at today's page. It's great to notice the improvements in things like hair detail, shading and reflective lighting, anatomy, page composition, and so-on.
So, great work! I'm glad I've been able to follow this comic since the first few chapters and watch your art and storytelling improve. =)

Flame Shadow says,

Oh, and for the QotU... teachers/professors that hit on their students are the worst. Not only is it distracting and uncomfortable, but it's also creepy and unprofessional! Ugh, no thanks.

Comments, anyone?
