DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 27: Page 13

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

So I didn't get two pages done, but you do get a color page.

Mostly because I wanted to draw some angry dragons and figured they'd look a million times better in color.

So, I guess this is as good a time as any to mention this moderately important thing. After a lot of back and forth with my bosses and even more uncertainty, it's looking like I'm finally getting a sort of promotion to a fulltime management position at my job. This is nice because I'll be salaried and have benefits and a slightly more predictable schedule...slightly. However, it also means that I'll be switching from a maximum of 40 hours a week to a minimum of 40 hours a week, basically, since I'll be putting in regular office hours AND working events on a good number of nights and weekends.

I...don't really know what that means for the comic. I mean, I feel like I've balanced a similar schedule and made it work before, but you're probably going to have to cut me some slack when it comes to updates being on time for awhile (like, more than usual) until I get used to it. I'm not quitting or taking a long hiatus or anything, obviously, but I'm definitely going to miss pages sometimes. Worst case scenario I drop back to one a week for a bit. We'll see how it goes.

Question of the Update: You know Artturo; give the other dragon a name.

Song of the Week: "Spark" - Ghost Town. Seemed fitting enough.

And You Say...

Flame Shadow says,

Burrich the big, brutish, brawny, breather-of-fire. XD

Sounds like it'll take a certain amount of adjustment before you figure out what updating schedule is most appropriate. As long as you're not stressing or feeling overworked with whatever schedule that is, I'll be happy. =)

Also, I forget how colorful everyone is until you spring a colored page on us. But it is so fitting for a page with dragons!

KingKomodo (Guest) says,

George, just because it sounds like a good name. (I'm not very good with coming up with names) As for the sort of promotion, congrats and take the time to adjust. Also just noticed that Xan and Dae have jackets that match the elements they control. (White for Ice, Orange for Fire)

Red (Guest) says,

I dub thee... Teingele! AKA a mashup of the Scottish Gaelic words for fire and scale, found with google translate :)

Timotheus (Guest) says,

You can always just call him "Fred". I've always felt that dragon names were over voweled for the most part and that they'd prefer short and to the point ones that can be snapped out between bites and breath attacks.

One Eye (Guest) says,

YAY!!! Yay for color! Nice to see an update.

Kudos to ya for the promotion!

Stellar Wolf (Guest) says,

That's great! Even though you won't have as much time for the comic it sounds exciting for you to have got promotion, i'm happy for ya!
And thank you so much for the coloured page, it looks amazing! :D

And for the name, it would be fun to name him something like Merlune because Artturo sounds like a play on Arthur and what would Arthur be without Merlin? X3

Comments, anyone?
