DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

If you like monsters, why not check out my Society6 shop:

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 29: Page 4

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

So excuse this week is...*pulls slip of paper out of hat*...I was sick!

No really, I felt something coming on New Year's Eve and have felt like garbage since. It's just a cold, really, but goddamn if it's not making me not want to do anything productive and sleep 12 hours a day.

Obviously my New Year's resolution did not include timely updates.

Aaaanyway, here's this.

Question of the Update: Okay so apparently little Dae doesn't think our bad guy's name is that impressive, BUT please tell me if you've figured out what it references and what other character names are also references to the same thing.

Song of the Week: "Crazy=Genius" - Panic! At The Disco. Honestly this entire album's worth of songs could be considered appropriate themes for Uther, but I have to pick one at a time, so. This one.

Oh hey, by the way, I almost forgot about this myself, but DC's 10th anniversary is coming up in a few days! There'll be a thing for that. Not a big thing, but a thing.

And You Say...

SpiralofDragon (Guest) says,

Uther Pendragon? King Arthur's dad. Not sure if I know other characters referencing the King Arthur legend, though

Captain Ghost says,

Aw, Dae, so young and innocent... he looks happy.

Guest says,

Oh! Arcturo and Morgai are also references, right? To Arthur and Morgana, specifically.

It's interesting that the other two references are both of the "creature" half of the half-creatures . . . If I assume that's a pattern, it would imply that "Uther" is, in fact, controlled by his dragon half, or at least assuming its identity (assuming I'm right about him being a half-dragon).

KingKomodo (Guest) says,

Looking at the eyes, I'd say that's a safe bet on the whole dragon being in control theory. As for the Arthurian legend being the reference it makes sense. Although if the names of Morgai and Arcturo are references to the same I don't see how they could work together. Probably where Riza and Dae come in.

Comments, anyone?
