DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

OTHER PROJECTS

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

Chapter 29: Page 13

February 6th, 2017, 11:00 am

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

Sometimes, when writing a fantasy story, "magic, probably" just has to be the answer.

Question of the Update: I'm not saying this is a /good/ technique, but can you think of any other instances in stories where the author just decided "magic" was the only answer needed to a question?

Also, reminder, the unofficial deadline for the DC Fanwork Contest is next Sunday, the 12th! I know a handful of you said you were working on entries but I've only gotten, like, one...and it's not much of a contest with only one entry. If anyone is short on time but still wants to enter let me know in the comments or something and I'll extend it by a week or two. I'm not really in a rush.

And You Say...

KingKomodo (Guest) says,

Not off hand, but it tends to happen alot either as a good or bad reason. Here actually seems like one of the good ones.

DJWolfie92 (Guest) says,

When Riza mushed together Morgai's and her own essence.

That was kind of a 'magic: why not?' for me.

Although that's exactly what I would've done.

Birdz555 says,

I do want to enter! I just..can't decide who to draw XD I was thinking of Nirako and Twyla, but I can't remember what chapter(s) we see Twyla in.

ZZ Digital says,

@Birdz555
What helped me get something down was just sitting in front of a piece of paper and thinking about one character at a time. (It was a group shot) but it eventually all fell together. And I think Hazu was allowing multiple entries, so hopefully you can just get started on something and then pick your favorites to send! I don't remember where Nirako and Twyla came in either. Maybe the Gallery section of the site has some art of them, I used a few images from there for reference.

Answer of the update: Isn't that like, half of Harry Potter?

Hazumirein says,

@Birdz555: Here is Twyla's intro page haha: http://www.dreamcatchercomic.com/comics/1245343/chapter-13-page-7/

That's probably the best reference of her.

Birdz555 says,

@Hazumirein: Thank you!!! :D

Comments, anyone?
