DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

If you like monsters, why not check out my Society6 shop:

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

Hey guys. Sorry this is an almost late update, but it was one of those weekends where everything that could possibly get in my way did. I had homework, yardwork, cages to clean, pets to keep from killing each other, a crazy rabbit clone incident (it's a long story), and the general normal distractions. On top of that, my motivation's been going really downhill lately (especially with the fact that I seem to have lost several fans in the last week. That's fairly disappointing), and a realization that I was smarter in elementary school when I didn't want to be an artist when I grew up.

But, I figure if you're even reading this, you don't want to hear me complain (I wouldn't), so moving on.
I'm not sure if you can tell, but I tried to put a little more effort into the inking on these two pages. Even if I just gave up on some of the backgrounds. They weren't worth it. Also, hopefully you can tell that's rain there in this page. I made the pattern myself, so I have no idea how it looks to anyone but me :P.

Anyway, regardless, enjoy. Or something.

And You Say...

wild_blood92 says,

Don't be down, I still think it is very good art. like Tyto said it is thier loss.

Sorrows Neptune says,

Don't let the ex-fans get yah. This probably just wasn't the kind of story-line they were interested in at the time. you know, if you don't like a web-comic, you might as well just stop reading it

(I'm not saying that Dreamcather isn't good of course)

I hope that piece of advise helps

BlackCatz says,

Don't worry about those fans - they sure don't know what they're doing!! Idiots.
Anyway I like the rain pattern too - looks great! And I was pleasantly suprised to find another page - lucky I decided to click back to SJ before going off to bed - Monday'll be here allll too soon! Nice!

Hazumirein says,

@Everyone: Thanks, guys =]. Ah, yeah, I know I shouldn't let it bother me. The number's picked back up since I updated anyway XD. So I feel a bit better. In fact, if I have time, there might even be a surprise for you guys this week =3

@ Tyto: Random rainstorm indeed XD. I couldn't think of a better way to lead up to the next part, so, it rains XP

@BlackCatz: Haha, yeah, I posted one page, then got distracted for a bit before I got to post the other one XD. So yeah, lucky you checked back I guess. And ew, it's Monday now ><

Phooka says,

Like what others have said, their loss. Life tends to throw things at you, but just keep going at our own pace.

And /I'll/ always be your fan, even if others leave.

Aussie says,

Very amusing page, I love how the vendor stops in the middle of his sentence as the rain starts and just closes shop so quickly, it amuses me.

I can tell you put some effort into the inking, and the shading on the characters is standing out some more. Another lovely and amusing page.

*Hands over a platter of cookies* I hope things get better for you at home, and with fans in the comic. ^^

Advocate (Guest) says,

And now, horror of horrors, that thief steals the crystal in a plot twist everyone has seen coming for several pages!

Xentrick says,

Tyto and wild_blood92 are right. The ex-fans don't know what there missing.

sweets8 says,

Hey, even they get to enjoy those rainy days stuck at home. Right?

Comments, anyone?
