DreamCatcher Readership Survey!

Hey guys! I created a little survey to see what kinds of folks I have reading this comic, and I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple minutes to fill it out! You can find it here!

If you like DC for its writing and characters, check out my webnovel Kody over on Tapas! It's got vampires who are mortal, were-creatures that aren't wolves, and some reluctant humans that have to put up with them all.

If you like monsters, why not check out my Society6 shop:

Would you still read DC if it moved away from a traditional comic format? (There would still be art.)

I Say...

Hazumirein says,

Welcome to The Base, kiddos.

It’s not exactly apparent, but I consider this a sort of landmark in the story. The Base is just that--a home base for Riza and everyone else to return to in between…uh, whatever they happen to be doing. It’s one of the most important locations in the comic, despite the fact that there actually isn’t a /lot/ of time spent here.

There’s actually a lot of history behind the existence of The Base in non-DC form. In some form or another, it’s been a part of my stories and characters’ lives for years. Once upon a time it was a (imaginary) small underground hideout that my (imaginary) friends and I played in when I was a little kid, and then it grew, and started to worm its way into my actual writing. At one point it was this humongous, multi-leveled, nonsensical complex that changed every time I used it for anything. And, finally, it got stuck in the DC universe in its current (and probably final) incarnation. Even now it doesn’t make a lot of sense, hence Xan’s explanation concerning his grandfather. It’s kind of a bizarre building.

ANYWAY, that’s my rant for the day. Also, I remembered to update the TopWebComics vote incentive this week, so if you would kindly click that little vote button about the Author comments, I would greatly appreciate it, and you will get a rather morbid doodle I did late one night a couple weeks ago. I’ll let you guys ponder on whether it means anything or not.

Ok. I’ll shut up now. ‘Till next week, kids.

And You Say...

Xiera says,

that made me laugh so much! "Civilization!!!"

Christo556 says,

eh o_O? *looks after Riza while she runs towards a building* *asks Luna* did i miss something?

Hazumirein says,

@Christo: Luna says, "No more than the rest of us, unless you didn't read the first half of the page. Otherwise, that's just Riza being...Riza."

Comments, anyone?
